About Pine

Pine is an abbreviation for Prozilla’s game engine. Pine implements the LWJGL library to enable cross-platform access to native API’s like OpenGL, OpenAL, GLFW and more. It provides a high-level and developer-friendly framework on top of the native libraries that LWJGL provides.

Blazingly Fast

Thanks to Pine’s robust ECS implementation and many other optimizations, it runs blazingly fast, even on low-end devices.

Pine implements the LWJGL library to enable cross-platform access to native API’s like OpenGL, OpenAL, GLFW and more.

Web-inspired UI features

Some parts of Pine are inspired by web technologies (HTML, CSS and JS), especially the API for UI features. Pine also allows you to use CSS to style your user interfaces.
